Job Description
Job Title: Senior Specialist (Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance) Location: Saudi Arabia Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist (Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance) to support aircraft airworthiness activities in compliance with GACA regulations and company standards. The role is responsible for assisting in the oversight of contracted maintenance providers, supporting engineering and maintenance programs, and ensuring the continued safety, reliability, and operational readiness of the airline fleet. The position requires strong technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices, airworthiness requirements, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Key Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Aircraft Engineering, Technical Services, Continuing Airworthiness, or Maintenance Operations within an Airline or MRO environment • Knowledge of GACA regulations, airworthiness requirements, and aviation industry standards • Experience supporting aircraft maintenance programs and engineering activities • Exposure to managing or coordinating with contracted maintenance providers and MRO organizations • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance documentation, and technical records • Hands-on aircraft maintenance or technician experience is highly preferred • Experience working with commercial aircraft fleets is considered an advantage • Knowledge of troubleshooting, defect analysis, and maintenance planning processes • AMOS maintenance management system experience is a strong advantage • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Key Responsibilities • Support aircraft airworthiness activities and ensure compliance with GACA regulations and company requirements • Monitor engineering and maintenance activities to ensure fleet safety, reliability, and operational performance • Coordinate with contracted maintenance providers and MROs to support maintenance execution and service quality • Review technical records, maintenance documentation, and engineering reports for regulatory compliance • Assist in evaluating technical issues, defects, and reliability trends, and support corrective actions • Support maintenance planning, engineering projects, and fleet technical initiatives as required • Liaise with internal departments, OEMs, and external service providers to resolve engineering and maintenance matters • Monitor maintenance performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives • Ensure accurate maintenance data management within AMOS and other relevant systems • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews related to engineering and maintenance activities Why Join Us • Opportunity to work with a leading aviation organization in a dynamic environment • Exposure to modern aircraft fleets and industry-leading maintenance practices • Involvement in airworthiness, engineering, and fleet reliability initiatives • Collaborative and professional work environment with cross-functional exposure • Career development and growth opportunities within aircraft engineering and maintenance • Competitive compensation and benefits package Aviation Indeed does not charge any recruitment fee.
