Job Description
Job Title: Aircraft Manager - Quality & Airworthiness Location: India Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Manager - Quality & Airworthiness to oversee aircraft quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and continuing airworthiness activities across the fleet. The role is responsible for ensuring adherence to DGCA regulations, approved maintenance programs, airworthiness requirements, and company standards while driving continuous improvement in maintenance quality, safety, and operational reliability. The position will work closely with Engineering, CAMO, Maintenance, and Quality teams to maintain the highest standards of aircraft airworthiness and compliance. Key Requirements • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Airline, MRO, CAMO, Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering, or Airworthiness environments • Strong experience in Quality Assurance, Airworthiness Management, Technical Compliance, CAMO, Technical Services, or Aircraft Maintenance functions • Sound knowledge of DGCA regulations, airworthiness requirements, maintenance compliance, and aviation industry standards • Experience overseeing quality systems, compliance programs, maintenance procedures, and airworthiness processes • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance programs, reliability concepts, technical records, and maintenance documentation • Experience conducting audits, compliance assessments, investigations, and corrective action management • Knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness Management requirements and aircraft regulatory obligations • Experience reviewing maintenance records, technical reports, and regulatory documentation • Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License will be an added advantage Key Responsibilities • Ensure aircraft airworthiness activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements, approved maintenance programs, and company standards • Manage quality assurance and compliance oversight across aircraft maintenance and engineering functions • Review maintenance records, technical documentation, work packages, and airworthiness-related reports to ensure regulatory compliance • Monitor compliance with DGCA requirements, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, maintenance programs, and company procedures • Conduct internal audits, quality reviews, surveillance activities, and compliance assessments across maintenance operations • Investigate audit findings, non-conformities, and quality issues while driving effective corrective and preventive actions • Coordinate with CAMO, Engineering, Technical Services, Maintenance, and Operations teams to resolve airworthiness and compliance-related matters • Support the development, review, and continuous improvement of quality procedures, manuals, policies, and compliance systems • Provide regulatory and airworthiness guidance to maintenance and engineering personnel • Prepare quality, compliance, audit, and airworthiness reports for management and regulatory authorities as required Why Join Us • Opportunity to work with a leading aviation organization • Exposure to modern aircraft fleets and advanced airworthiness management practices • Dynamic and collaborative work culture • Career growth and leadership opportunities • Competitive compensation and benefits package Aviation Indeed does not charge any recruitment fee.
