Job Title: Manager - Mishandled Baggage (MHB) Operations - International Airlines (OAL) Location: Delhi Airport (DEL), India Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Manager - Mishandled Baggage (MHB) Operations - International Airlines (OAL) to lead baggage service and transfer operations for multiple international airline partners at Delhi Airport. The role is responsible for managing mishandled baggage processes, airline service level compliance, transfer baggage connectivity, premium passenger handling, and operational coordination with stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service and operational performance. The position plays a critical role in maintaining airline relationships, achieving baggage service standards, and delivering a seamless passenger experience. Key Requirements • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Airline Ground Handling, Airport Operations, Baggage Services, Passenger Services, or Hub Operations environments • Strong experience managing Mishandled Baggage (MHB) operations for international carriers • Knowledge of WorldTracer, baggage reconciliation systems (BRS), baggage tracing, and baggage recovery processes • Experience handling delayed baggage (AHL), OHD inventory management, and baggage claims resolution • Strong understanding of international airline service level agreements (SLAs) and baggage performance standards • Experience managing transfer passengers, interline baggage connectivity, and hub operations • Proven ability to coordinate with airline station managers, airport authorities, customs, immigration, and security agencies • Strong customer service orientation with experience handling VIP passengers and service escalations • Experience leading large operational teams in a fast-paced airport environment • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end Mishandled Baggage (MHB) operations for multiple international airline partners at Delhi Airport • Ensure compliance with airline-specific SLAs related to baggage delivery performance, transfer connectivity, and passenger service standards • Drive achievement of baggage performance targets, including First Bag Delivery Time (FBDT) and Last Bag Delivery Time (LBDT) • Oversee baggage reconciliation activities and ensure compliance with BRS requirements through close coordination with ramp and operational teams • Manage delayed baggage, baggage tracing, recovery, and expedited forwarding through domestic and international connections • Lead WorldTracer activities, including AHL processing, OHD inventory management, baggage tracing, reconciliation, and case closure • Coordinate transfer passenger and interline baggage operations across multiple airlines and terminals • Handle premium passenger requirements, VIP movements, and critical customer escalations • Collaborate with airline station managers, airport authorities, customs, immigration, and security stakeholders to ensure smooth operations • Manage operational disruptions and implement recovery actions to minimize passenger inconvenience and service impact Why Join Us • Opportunity to work with leading international airline partners at one of India's busiest airports • Exposure to global airline service standards and airport hub operations • Dynamic and customer-focused operational environment • Leadership opportunities with multi-stakeholder engagement • Competitive compensation and benefits package Aviation Indeed does not charge any recruitment fee.
