Job Description
Job Title: Manager – Structures Location: Bangalore, India Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Tech Services Engineer – Structures to provide technical engineering support for aircraft structural systems, ensuring continued airworthiness, structural integrity, and regulatory compliance. The role is responsible for supporting structural inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities while coordinating with engineering teams and maintenance personnel to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient aircraft operations. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical engineering support for aircraft structural maintenance activities to ensure continued airworthiness and fleet reliability • Conduct structural inspections, defect assessments, and troubleshooting of aircraft airframe components • Review and support structural repairs, modifications, and replacement activities in accordance with approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements • Monitor aircraft structural integrity and recommend corrective actions to maintain safety and operational performance • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate engineering records, inspection reports, and technical documentation • Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve structural issues and support timely aircraft return to service • Liaise with engineering departments, OEMs, and vendors to obtain technical support and approved repair solutions • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, approved maintenance manuals, and company procedures • Identify opportunities to improve structural maintenance processes, reliability, and operational efficiency • Support engineering investigations and continuous improvement initiatives related to aircraft structural performance Key Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in aircraft structures maintenance, technical services, or airframe engineering within an Airline or MRO environment • Strong knowledge of aircraft structural systems, airframe components, and structural repair methodologies • Experience in structural inspections, defect assessment, troubleshooting, and technical documentation • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals, Structural Repair Manual (SRM), engineering drawings, and maintenance procedures • Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements, airworthiness standards, and maintenance compliance • Boeing aircraft structures experience or structure type training will be an added advantage • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills • Ability to coordinate with engineering, maintenance teams, and external vendors • Proficiency in interpreting technical publications and engineering instructions Aviation Indeed does not charge any recruitment fee.
