WE ARE HIRING | STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - UAV / ROTORCRAFT Location: India Experience: 2-3 Years Industry: Aerospace / UAV / Drone Development Job Type: Full-time We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to work on the structural design, analysis, and validation of lightweight, high-performance UAV and rotorcraft structures. Key Responsibilities • Design and analyze UAV and helicopter structures using CFRP and advanced composite materials. • Perform static, dynamic, modal, fatigue, and vibration analyses. • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS and other CAE tools. • Optimize structures for weight, stiffness, strength, and manufacturability. • Support aeroelasticity, rotor dynamics, and structural simulation activities. • Plan structural and vibration testing and correlate test results with simulation data. • Collaborate with aerodynamics, propulsion, systems engineering, and manufacturing teams. • Support structural validation and aerospace certification requirements. Key Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. PhD preferred. • 2-3 years of experience in aerospace structural engineering, preferably in UAVs or rotorcraft. • Strong knowledge of CFRP, sandwich structures, and hybrid laminates. • Hands-on proficiency in ANSYS and vibration analysis tools. • Understanding of modal dynamics, fatigue analysis, and aero-structural coupling. Preferred Skills • Experience in rotorcraft or rotor blade structural design. • Knowledge of aerospace certification standards. • Experience in lightweight structural optimization. • Familiarity with composite manufacturing processes, including autoclave curing and RTM.
