Job Description
Title: AIRCRAFT HEAD OF GSE (GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT) & MAINTENANCE Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Head of GSE & Maintenance to lead the procurement, operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). The role will ensure equipment availability, operational safety, and efficient support for aircraft turnaround and ground operations. Key Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field. • Minimum 13 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role. • Strong experience managing airport GSE fleets and ground support equipment maintenance. • Knowledge of GSE procurement, preventive and corrective maintenance, fleet planning, and lifecycle management. • Experience in vendor management, budgeting, spare parts planning, and equipment reliability. • Strong understanding of airport safety standards and aircraft ground-handling operations. • Good communication and team management skills; English and Bengali language skills are required as per the role requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Lead GSE fleet planning, procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management. • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and availability. • Manage GSE vendors, OEMs, contracts, spare parts, tools, and workshop operations. • Prepare and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for equipment and maintenance. • Ensure compliance with airport safety standards and prevent aircraft or ground equipment damage. • Monitor equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and operational efficiency. • Lead, train, and develop the GSE and maintenance team. • Coordinate with airport operations, ground-handling teams, and other departments to support smooth aircraft turnaround.
