Job Description - Sourcing Specialist (Aviation Industry) Location: Delhi / NCR Experience: 4-5 Years Industry: Aviation / Aerospace Department: Procurement / Strategic Sourcing Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Specialist with 4-5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, preferably within the Aviation, Aerospace or Aircraft MRO industry. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing reliable suppliers, sourcing aircraft components and spare parts, managing RFQs, negotiating commercial terms and ensuring timely procurement while maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities • Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers and vendors for aviation components, aircraft spare parts, tools and maintenance materials. • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including vendor identification, RFQs, quotations, negotiations and purchase recommendations. • Source aircraft components and spare parts in accordance with technical specifications and operational requirements. • Coordinate with procurement, engineering, maintenance and quality teams to understand material requirements. • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and contractual conditions with suppliers. • Ensure supplier compliance with applicable aviation quality standards and documentation requirements. • Verify component traceability and relevant documentation, including Certificates of Conformity (CoC), wherever applicable. • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, cost savings and delivery commitments. • Maintain an updated supplier database and prepare sourcing reports. • Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international aviation suppliers. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Aviation or a related field. • 4-5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the Aviation or Aerospace industry. • Experience in sourcing aircraft spare spare parts, aviation components or MRO materials will be preferred. • Knowledge of vendor management, RFQ processes, commercial negotiations and procurement documentation. • Good communication, analytical, negotiation and coordination skills. • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP / procurement systems is preferred. • Technical Skills • Aircraft Spare Parts Procurement • Aviation Components Sourcing • MRO Materials Procurement • Non-Technical Skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Good commercial negotiation and decision-making abilities. • Ability to develop and maintain supplier relationships. • Organized and detail-oriented in documentation and record-keeping. • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple sourcing requirements and delivery timelines. • Preferred Candidate Profile • Candidates from Aviation MRO, Aerospace, Aircraft Maintenance or Aviation Spare Parts Trading companies. • Experience dealing with OEMs, distributors and international aviation suppliers. • Understanding of aviation component traceability and quality documentation. • Candidates based in Delhi/NCR will be preferred • • RFQ and Quotation Management • Supplier and Vendor Development • Component Traceability • Certificate of Conformity (CoC) • OEM and International Supplier Coordination • Aviation Quality Documentation • Procurement ERP Systems
